Travel again with me!!! Today I'm sharing one more video where you can see the look of the luxury hotel "LIOSTASI Hotel & Spa" in Ios (Greece) and its exclusive suites: Deluxe (room 55), Elegant (room 51) and Liostasi (room 56)!

Balea: 7 days ampoules treatment (Wellness Program)

I'm such a sucker for any "wellness" thing!:) Also for any kind of serums or special skin treatments, especially the ones that are supposed to produce magical effect on the skin in just one week or ten days...

It's not the secret that I love trying out some of Balea products (made in Germany, but can be found in Serbia and other countries). I'm really fond of their special treatments for the skin (not so much face creams), weather they're coming in the form of capsules or ampoules. This "7 days ampoules treatment" I have for quite some time, yet I haven't used it 'till now due to all other beauty products I was (as always!) eager to try first.

Lako se "zapalim" za bilo koju wellness stvar!:) Takodje i za bilo koju vrstu seruma ili specijalnih tretmana za kozu, narocito onih koji obecavaju magicne efekte nakon samo nedelju ili deset dana.

Nije tajna da volim da isprobavam Balea proizvode. Zaista sam naklonjena njihovim specijalnim tretmanima za kozu (ne toliko i kremama za lice), bez obzira da li su u obliku kapsula ili ampula. Ovaj "7-dnevni tretman sa ampulama" imam vec duze vreme, ali ga nisam koristila do nedavno zbog svih ostalih beauty proizvoda koje sam bila zeljna (kao i uvek) da prvo isprobam.

Just like the name says, this is 7-day treatment so it has 7 ampoules (7x1ml). There are 3 different kinds of ampoules: blue ones (with aloe-vera) which you use on 1st, 2nd and 7th day; green ones (with green tea) which you use on 3rd and 5th day, and transparent ones (with sea silk) which you use on 4th and 6th day. Blue ampoules have anti-stress effect, green have protective effect and transparent ampoules have hydrating effect.

As per usual, you should apply the content after you clean your face and before face creams. I found the content of one ampoule to be too much for one use, as it's very liquid, so I split it: half in the evening and half in the morning. In my opinion this is "lighter" treatment for the skin, there are no drastic improvements, but it doesn't hurt either!:)

Maybelline: Affinitone Mineral foundation (sensitive skin) in Sand 30

In the last one year or so it was really hard for me to find a matching foundation, especially concerning my skin type. Why? Because my skin has changed, from normal it went to slightly dry and sometimes even sensitive. So all matte foundations that I was using before were no more the option (they are working only when I add some heavier face cream as a base)...

U poslednjih godinu dana zaista mi je tesko da pronadjem odgovarajuci tecni puder, narocito kada je tip koze u pitanju. Zasto? Zato sto se moja koza promenila, i od normalne je postala blago suva i ponekad cak i osetljiva. Tako da sve mat podloge koje sam ranije koristila vise nisu bile opcija (mogu da ih koristim samo kada nanesem neku masniju kremu za lice kao podlogu)...

Luckily I found one foundation that helped me a bit with my daily makeup routine, and that's Maybelline's "Affinitone Mineral". It's designed for the sensitive skin, has a medium thick texture and offers a nice medium coverage. Easy to apply and easy to smudge, both with fingers or brush/sponge. The shade I chose was Sand (30), which belongs to the range of medium (beige) tones. And one more thing I love about it is that it has SPF 18! I don't say it's a perfect foundation, but it's definitely one very good option!

Elegant suite (room 51) :: Liostasi hotel & spa (Ios)

It's finally here: the description of the last suite at "Liostasi Hotel & Spa" where we stayed at the end of last summer! I purposely left this post for the beginning of the summer season, because you can read it with bigger motivation and inspiration now that you know that you will also enjoy your holidays very very soon!:)
If you remember I wrote about "Deluxe" suite (post link) and "Liostasi" suite (post link), and now you can see what it looks like so-called "Elegant" suite (room number 51) where we spent our last (only one) night in Ios...

Konacno je tu: opis poslednjeg "Liostasi Hotel & Spa" apartmana u kojem smo boravili krajem proslog leta! Namerno sam ostavila ovaj post za pocetak nove turisticke sezone, jer je veca motivacija i inspiracija citati sada kada znate da cete i vi uskoro uzivati u vasem godisnjem odmoru!:)
Ako se secate pisala sam o "Deluxe" apartmanu (post link) i "Liostasi" apartmanu (post link), a danas mozete videti kako izgleda takozvani "Elegant" apartman (soba broj 51) u kojem smo proveli nasu poslednju (samo jednu) noc na Iosu...

Church of Timios Stavros (Church of the Holy Cross)

Church of Timios Stavros (To Μοναστήρι του Τιμίου Σταυρού), or in translation the Church of the Holy Cross (it used to be a part of monastery), is one of the most beautiful churches I've seen in the last few years! It is located some 70 kilometers away from Trikala (Thessaly, Central Greece) in an area known as Aspropotamos, between Krania and Doliana. It has 13 domes, and in its amazing architecture you can see the use of stone everywhere, even on the roof. It was built probably at the end of the 18th century (around 1770.), and restored twice so far. When the Nazis during World War II (more precisely, in autumn 1943.) burned almost the entire region, the church itself began to burn but luckily it survived a flurry of fire without major catastrophic damage.

The pictures you see today I took last summer, when we spend 2 days in this region... 

Crkva Timios Stavros (To Μοναστήρι του Τιμίου Σταυρού), odnosno Crkva Svetog Krsta (nekada je bila deo manastira), je jedna od najlepsih crkvi koje sam videla u poslednjih par godina! Nalazi se nekih 70-tak km od Trikale (Tesalija, centralna Grcka) u oblasti zvanoj Aspropotamos, izmedju mesta Krania i Doliana. Ima 13 kupola, a u arhitekturi je u potpunosti koriscen kamen. Sagradjena je najverovatnije krajem 18og veka (oko 1770.), i restaurirana dva puta do sada. Kada su Nacisti tokom II Svetskog rata (tacnije jeseni 1943.) spalili skoro citav region, crkva je i sama pocela da gori ali je srecom prezivela nalet vatre bez vecih katastrofalnih ostecenja.
