Orange & white color-block maxi dress

Here's another late summer look, before I went on holiday and got my tan!:) This pretty maxi dress is one of my dearest pieces, and it's not even a novelty in the closet- got it last summer. Words can't describe how much I love the open back and its refreshing color-block combination: orange and white! So what you see today can easily be one of my favorite outfits from this summer!

Evo jos jednog kasnog letnjeg look-a, pre nego sto sam otisla na odmor i pocrnela!:) Ova lepa maxi haljina mi je jedna od najdrazih komada garderobe, i cak nije ni novina u ormanu- imam je od proslog leta. Reci ne mogu opisati koliko volim otvorena ledja i osvezavajucu color-block kombinaciju: narandzasta i bela! Tako da ovo sto danas vidite lako moze biti jedan od mojih omiljenih outfita ovog leta!

Golden beach | Best Paros beaches

On the second day of our stay on Paros island the weather was more pleasant from the early morning. So after the breakfast we decided to go to Golden beach, otherwise called Chrissi Akti...

Golden beach is a long beach, probably the biggest one in the whole island. Clear water and golden soft sand. Entrance to the water in not the same: in one part is sand, in the second part is larger and smooth stone surface, something like a stone plate. This beach along with Santa Maria (about which I wrote here) is recommended for water sports, especially for windsurfing...

Drugog dana naseg boravka na Paros ostrvu vreme je bilo prijatnije od samog jutra. Odlucili smo da nakon dorucka krenemo ka Golden beach-u (Chrissi Akti), u prevodu ka Zlatnoj plazi...

Golden beach je duga plaza, verovatno i najveca na citavom ostrvu. Cista voda i zlatno zuti mekani pesak u koji noga prosto uranja. Ulaz u vodu je u jednom delu pescan, u drugom delu je veca i glatka kamena povrsina, nesto kao kamena ploca. Ova plaza se kao i Santa Maria (o kojoj sam pisala ovde) preporucuje za vodene sportove, narocito za windsurfing...

Old port of Naoussa

Hello everyone! Here are some photos of a beautiful fishing village in Paros island, which is called Naoussa. What you can see in the pictures is the old part of the port, which becomes "alive" after 6pm when cute taverns and ouzeries open their doors to the tourists and local people...

Zdravo svima! Evo nekih fotografija prelepog ribarskog mesta na ostrvu Paros koje se zove Naoussa. Ovo sto vidite na slikama je stari deo luke, koji naprosto "zivne" nakon 18h kada brojne tavernice i uzerije otvaraju svoja vrata turistima i lokalcima...

Santa Maria beach (Paros)

The first beach we saw on Paros was Santa Maria, one of the two largest beaches on the island (the other one is Golden Beach). Santa Maria is an organized and really pretty beach. The water here is very clean (as everywhere on the island!), but because of the open sea there are often waves, which makes this beach one of the favorite locations among the lovers of water sports. Luckily on the day we were here the wind wasn't blowing so strong, so we were able to enjoy this beauty the whole afternoon...

Prva plaza koju smo videli na Parosu je Santa Maria, jedna od dve najvece plaze na ostrvu (druga je Golden beach, tj. Zlatna plaza). Santa Maria je organizovana i vrlo lepa plaza. Voda je ovde izuzetno cista (kao i svuda na ostrvu!), ali zbog otvorenosti mora cesto ima talasa, zato je i plaza jedna od omiljenih lokacija za sve ljubitelje vodenih sportova. Srecom dana kada smo mi bili vetar nije preterano duvao, tako da smo mogli da uzivamo u ovoj lepoti citavo popodne!

First afternoon by the pool...

Sporty Chic | How to wear athleisure trend

I had the idea for this sporty-yet-chic look for quite some time, but I couldn't find the proper shoes to match with (nothing from my almost-100-shoe-collection didn't fit!!) until I saw these white babes! It was a love at the first sight!! Wider straps, chunky heels, what more could you wish for?!!

Imala sam ideju za ovaj "sporty-yet-chic" look vec neko vreme, ali nisam nikako mogla pronaci cipele koje bi se slagale (nista od moje skoro-100-cipela-kolekcije nije odgovaralo!!), dok nisam videla ove bele lepotice! Bila je to ljubav na prvi pogled!! Sire trake, chunky tj. punije stikle, sta vise pozeleti?!

We're in PAROS!!

Yes our vacation has started, finally!! As the first destination we chose the island of Paros!! Paros is one of the most popular islands of Cyclades, has the area around 196km2, and is very close to Naxos as well as Ios. To get here we needed 4 hours with the ferry-boat from Piraeus. So far I'm completely in looove with the island, it's so beautiful!!! Yes it's a bit windy but still you can enjoy the sunny weather and crystal clear waters of Paros!!! So here are some shots from the first afternoon, and there are many more to come!!

Da da nas odmor je poceo, konacno!! Kao prvu destinaciju izabrali smo ostrvo Paros!! Paros je jedno od najpopularnijih ostrva Kiklada, ima povrsinu od oko 196km2 , i vrlo je blizu Naksosu kao i Iosu! Trebalo nam je neka cetiri sata da stignemo ovde, trajektom iz atinske luke Pirej. Kako stvari stoje sada- ja sam potpuno zaaaaaljubljena u ostrvo, prelepo je!! Da, malo je vetrovito ali ipak mozete da uzivate u suncu i kristalno cistim vodama Parosa! Evo nekih slikica prvog popodneva, i ocekujte mnogo vise narednih dana!

Playful Snakeskin | How to wear snakeskin trend

I had sooooo much fun taking the photos for this outfit post! I think it might be the influence of the playful cut of the dress, maybe even the breeze that blew that day... Anyway, here's one outfit that throws into focus the snakeskin print. At first I thought to match it with the simple sandals in a beige color, but when I tried snakeskin sandals- there was no doubt, it looked like the dress and sandals came as a set!!

Toliko sam se zabavljala dok sam se slikala za ovaj outfit post! Mislim da je sama razigranost kroja haljine uticala na to, mozda i sam vetric koji je duvao tog dana... U svakom slucaju evo jednog outfita koji baca u fokus snakeskin tj. zmijski print. Prvobitno sam mislila da uklopim jednostavne sandale u bez boji, ali kada sam probala snakeskin sandale- nije postojala nikakva sumnja, izgledalo je kao da su haljina i sandale dosle u setu!!

Cocktails at Pazuzu beach bar

Two days ago I showed you the pictures of Pazuzu bar at Glyfada beach (read about it here), which quickly became one of the trendiest spots on Corfu island! Today I wanted to show you few more photos, and few really tasty cocktails! The most popular cocktail this summer is Kinky Ginger (see the photo below)!  

Pre dva dana sam vam pokazala slike Pazuzu bara na Glifada plazi (procitajte o tome ovde), koji je vrlo brzo postao jedna od super-trendi lokacija na ostrvu Krf! Danas sam zelela da vam pokazem jos nekoliko slika, i par zaista ukusnih koktela!  Koktel koji je hit ovog leta se zove Kinky Ginger (pogledajte sliku u nastavku)!

Maxi dress | Red & White Stripes

Nothing says "summer and sea" more than always-in-trend stripes, whether it's a black and white, navy and white, or red and white combination. I guess I'll take this red and white striped maxi dress with me on the holidays, but I wanted to show you before, cause it's such a cute dress, right?!:) Funny thing: so many people thought the dress was actually a set: skirt + loose top!

Nista ne govori "leto i more" vise od uvek-u-trendu prugica, bilo da je u pitanju crno-bela, teget-bela ili crveno-bela kombinacija. Mislim da cu ovu maxi haljinu sa crveno-belim prugama poneti na odmor, ali htela sam i pre da vam pokazem, zato sto je stvarno slatka haljinica, zar ne?!:) Zabavno je to sto su mnogi pomislili da je u pitanju set: suknja + top!

PAZUZU Beach Bar (Glyfada beach/Corfu)

Pazuzu bar is at this moment the uber-hot-spot on the island of Corfu, opened this summer at Glyfada beach (read about the beach here)! Super stylish beach bar + club features two bars, a restaurant area and a lounge-club area for the afternoon parties and evening events!

Pazuzu bar je u ovom trenutku "uber-hot-spot" na ostrvu Krf, otvoren ovog leta na Glifada plazi (vise o plazi ovde)!! Super stylish beach bar + club u svom sastavu ima dva bara, restoran i lounge-club prostor za popodnevne zurke i vecernje dogadjaje!

I already wrote we went to Glyfada beach and this was the beach bar we chose to spend our "3hrs-break-from-the-work"! It was Friday, and everything was fully booked, till the last sun bed! Luckily we came earlier (round 10am) so they easily let us stay as we already planned to leave the beach by 1pm.

I love loveeeee a pop of a cobalt blue eye makeup during the summer! It makes my blue-green eyes look brighter and more alive, and very often it brings out their green pigment!

Here I'm wearing Shiseido "Perfect mascara full definition" in Black + Urban Decay "24/7 glide on eye pencil" in Chaos! Perfect match!

Volim voooolim dasak kobaltno plave boje na ocima tokom leta!!! Ove nijansa cini da moje plavo-zelene oci izgledaju odmornije i otvorenije, i vrlo cesto istice zeleni pigment ociju!

Na slici sam koristila: Shiseido "Perfect mascara full definition" (Black) + Urban Decay "24/7 glide on eye pencil" u Chaos nijansi! Perfektan par!!

Glyfada beach | Corfu island

When we went to Corfu island (like ten days ago) to finish some errands, we grabbed (for the first time) 2-3 hours to take a dip in the sea and the sun finally saw us in swimsuits!:) Friends who live in Corfu, suggested us to visit Glyfada beach, so right after the breakfast we got in the car and headed to the trendy beach, located 16km west of Corfu town. I was prepared for the cold water (because for that kind of water I know), but I was shocked when I dipped my fingers- water was waaaaaarm!!! Fortune favored us that day because it was a warm current, usually the water is indeed cold in the summer!

Here are some pictures of Glyfada beach, and next week I will show you which beach bar we chose!;)

Kad smo pre desetak dana skoknuli do ostrva Krf da zavrsimo neke poslice, ugrabili smo (po prvi put) 2-3 sata da se okupamo u moru i da nas sunce konacno vidi u kupacem!:) Prijatelji koji zive na Krfu su nam predlozili Glifada plazu, i odmah nakon dorucka smo seli u kola i uputili se ka trendi plazi koja se nalazi 16km zapadno od grada Krfa. Ja sam bila pripremljena za hladnu vodu (jer za takvu znam), ali dozivela sam "sok" kada sam umocila nogice- voda je bila toplaaaaaa!!! Sreca nam je bila naklonjena tog dana jer je u pitanju bila topla struja, obicno je voda zaista hladna tokom leta!

Evo nekih slikica Glifada plaze, a sledece nedelje cu vam pokazati u kom beach baru smo bili!;)

Cobalt blue, polka dots and floral print

The dress I got as a gift at the end of the last summer, yet a few days ago I decided to wear it for the first time. Favorite with this dress is definitely a cobalt blue color in the part of the shoulders and in the lower part. Mix of polka dots and floral print in the middle is somehow completely matching, it might be because of the slightly decreased saturation... All in all, here's one playful and joyful combination for the late summer days...

Haljinu sam dobila na poklon krajem proslog leta, i pre neki dan sam je po prvi put obukla. Omiljeno kod ove haljine je definitivno kobaltno plava boja u predelu ramena i donjem delu. Mix tufnastog i cvetnog printa u sredini se nekako odlicno slaze, bice da je zbog ublazenog kolorita... Sve u svemu evo jedne razigrane i vesele kombinacije za kasne dane leta...
