Normally women say "Spring finally arrived, no more heavy makeup, heavy foundations, dark lipsticks!". But I can't say that, 'cause I stopped wearing "heavy" makeup quite some time ago. So for me the only difference between fall/winter and spring/summer makeup is more of vibrant makeup shades during the warmer period: more blue (especially turquoise) and green on the eyes, more orange and pink on the lips...
During the last two months I bought a couple of makeup products in the shades I liked at first sight. You could see here what I found in Sephora store, but most of what you see today I found in drugstores. Definitely two favorite products are H&M "All-day liquid foundation" in shade Olive which perfectly (but perfectly!) matches my skin tone, as well as "Global fusion shimmer drops" because I love anything shimmery!;)

Obicno zene kazu: "Konacno je stiglo prolece, nema vise teske sminke, teskih pudera, tamnih karmina!". Ali ja to ne mogu reci, jer ima jedno godinu dana kako sam prestala da nosim "tesku" sminku. Tako da je jedina razlika izmedju jesenje/zimske i prolecne/letnje sminke za mene to sto koristim vise otvorenijih nijansi tokom toplijeg perioda: vise plave (narocito tirkizne) i zelene na ocima, vise narandzaste i pink na usnama...

Tokom poslednja dva meseca sam pokupovala nekoliko mejkap proizvoda u nijansama koje su mi se dopale na prvi pogled. Mogli ste videti ovde sta sam nasla u Sephora radnji, a vecinu ovoga sto vidite danas sam pronasla u drogerijama. Definitivno dva omiljena proizvoda su H&M "All-day liquid foundation" u nijansi Olive koja se perfektno (ali perfektno) slaze sa bojom mog tena, kao i "Global fusion shimmer drops" u Midas touch nijansi zato sto volim sve sto svetluca!;)

Hi sweeties! Today I want to share some face makeup products which I have been using from the beginning of 2017, almost on a daily basis! Most of them are really good matches for a medium skin tone, including the olive skin tone. See below all products, and a few words about each one!

Zdravo seceri! U danasnjem postu zelim da podelim nekoliko mejkap proizvoda koje sam koristila od pocetka 2017-te, skoro na svakodnevnoj bazi! Vecina njih je vrlo pogodna za srednju nijansu tena, ukljucujuci i maslinasti ten. Pogledajte u nastavku teksta koji su to proizvodi!

Nude lips trend... Basically "nude lips" should look good on everyone 'cause the shades imitate the natural color of our lips. Yet there are so many neutral shades of lip products, and we all have different skin color as well as the undertones. That's all a part of the game, so the whole thing can be quite confusing! For example, I look like a corps when I apply lipstick that is few shades lighter than my lips (if I want to pull it off, I need to have heavier eye makeup). Also darker brown lipstick shades (very often) make me look "not-at-all-fresh" or what I like to call "muddy"...

So since my skin has neutral undertone, what works best for me are the neutral/nude shades which are a bit darker than my lips: pink-brown shades, peaches, lighter cinnamon shades and similar. Here are some lip products (lipsticks, lipglosses and lip liners) that I'm experimenting with- some look really nice when I apply them, and some I'll simply skip...:)

Trend nazvan "nude usne"... Prakticno ovaj trend bi trebalo da pristaje svima zato sto nude nijanse imitiraju prirodnu boju nasih usana. Ali postoji toliko neutralnih nijansi proizvoda za sminkanje, i svi mi imamo drugaciju boju tena kao i podtona. To je sve deo igre, tako da citava prica moze postati zbunjujuca. Na primer, ja izgledam kao zivi les kada nanesem karmin koji je nekoliko tonova svetliji od boje mojih usana (ako hocu da mi uspe, onda moram imati jaci mejkap ociju). Takodje tamnije nijanse braon karmina (vrlo cesto) cine da izgledam "ne-tako-sveze" ili sto ja volim da kazem "blatnjavo"...

S obzirom da moja koza ima neutralan podton, nude nijanse koje mi najbolje pristaju jesu: rozikasto-braon, nijanse breskve, svetlije nijanse cimeta i slicno. Evo nekih proizvoda za sminkanje usana (karmini, sjajevi za usne i olovke za usne) sa kojima sam eksperimentisala u poslednje vreme- neki super izgledaju kad ih nanesem, a neke cu ubuduce zaobici...:)

I love makeup (wow what a revelation, lol), and I've never tried anything from NYC (New York Color) so I took a chance to pick up a few things, out of fun! See below what I found and quick opinion about each product...

Volim sminku (vau kakvo otkrice, haha), i nikada nisam probala nesto od NYC (New York Color) brenda tako da sam iskoristila priliku da pokupim par stvarcica, cisto radi zabave! Pogledajte u nastavku sta sam pronasla i ukratko sta mislim o svakom proizvodu...

Here are two "basic" makeup products which I currently use, not exactly on a daily basis but very often, in greater or lesser amount depending on the needs or time of a day. First I bought Rimmel's "Wake me up" liquid foundation (actually I thought to get something from L'Oreal, like "True match" or "Lumi magique" but I went for this one!), and then L'Oreal "True Match" powder.

Evo dva "bazicna" mejkap proizvoda koja trenutno koristim, ne bas na dnevnoj bazi ali cesto, u manjoj ili vecoj kolicini u zavisnosti od prilike ili doba dana. Prvo sam kupila Rimmel "Wake me up" tecnu podlogu (zapravo mislila sam da uzmem neku iz L'Oreal linije kao sto su "True match" ili "Lumi magique", ali sam se odlucila za ovu!), a onda i L'Oreal "True match" kameni puder. 

In the last one year or so it was really hard for me to find a matching foundation, especially concerning my skin type. Why? Because my skin has changed, from normal it went to slightly dry and sometimes even sensitive. So all matte foundations that I was using before were no more the option (they are working only when I add some heavier face cream as a base)...

U poslednjih godinu dana zaista mi je tesko da pronadjem odgovarajuci tecni puder, narocito kada je tip koze u pitanju. Zasto? Zato sto se moja koza promenila, i od normalne je postala blago suva i ponekad cak i osetljiva. Tako da sve mat podloge koje sam ranije koristila vise nisu bile opcija (mogu da ih koristim samo kada nanesem neku masniju kremu za lice kao podlogu)...

Luckily I found one foundation that helped me a bit with my daily makeup routine, and that's Maybelline's "Affinitone Mineral". It's designed for the sensitive skin, has a medium thick texture and offers a nice medium coverage. Easy to apply and easy to smudge, both with fingers or brush/sponge. The shade I chose was Sand (30), which belongs to the range of medium (beige) tones. And one more thing I love about it is that it has SPF 18! I don't say it's a perfect foundation, but it's definitely one very good option!

From the moment when Urban Decay introduced its first eyeshadow palette called "Naked", the world went completely crazy for the nude shades! Instagram and Pinterest are full of pictures with "Naked"/"Naked2"/"Naked3" and other variants of the iconic palette, and all other brands realized that this mania for neutral shades won't stop soon so they began to focus on beige and brownish palettes.

Neutral shades suit absolutely everyone regardless of the shape and color of the eyes, you can wear them "from morning 'till tomorrow", and they really are a basic piece of makeup (such as mascara or powder) that each lady should have, not matter if she is or she's not a fan of makeup...

I collected (with huge pleasure!!) all the nude/neutral palettes that are hit on the market, and I hope my choice might help you. Od trenutka kada je Urban Decay pre par godina predstavio svoju prvu paletu senki za oci "Naked", zenski svet je prosto poludeo za "nude" nijansama! Instagram i Pinterest su krcati slikama sa "Naked"/"Naked2"/"Naked3" i ostalim varijantama ikonske palete, a svi ostali brendovi su uvideli pomamu za neutralnim nijansama te i sami poceli da se fokusiraju na bez i braonkaste palete.

Makeup of the day... A natural and even complexion is slightly refreshed with the shimmer brick (that served as a bronzer/blush) in metallic golden-brown tones. Similar golden color is used on the eyes that are accentuated with the eyeliner gel and a rich layer of mascara. Matt finish on the lips is achieved by using only the lip pencil...

Sminka dana... Prirodan i ujednacen ten je blago osvezen "brick" bronzerom/rumenilom u metalik zlatkasto-braon tonovima. Slicna zlatna boja preovladjuje i na ocima koje su akcentovane ajlajnerom u gelu i bogatim slojem maskare. Mat finis na usnama je postignut koriscenjem samo olovke za usne...

For a long time I have been craving for the lipstick in orange color, better to say "lipsticks", because there are various shades of orange: more open and brighter suitable for spring and summer, dimmed and darker which are suitable for winter and autumn...

This is my second Calvin Klein "Delicious Luxury Creme Lipstick" (see the first one here)! Since we are still in the cold period, the shade I chose is called "Orange Too"- rich and warm orange that pulls slightly to the color of the bricks. Lipstick has a medium texture (neither too creamy nor too dry) and provides a matte finish. It's easy to apply, stays long on the lips and moisturizes them. And when I do not want that matte effect, the only thing I need to do is to add a bit of a clear lip gloss, which slightly accentuates the color and makes the lips look even more attractive!

Vec duze vreme sam zudela za karminom u narandzastoj boji, bolje reci za karminima jer postoje razne nijanse narandzaste: otvorenije i svetlije koje su pogodne za prolece i leto, zagasitije i tamnije koje su pogodne za zimu i jesen...

Ovo je moj drugi Calvin Klein "Delicious Luxury Creme Lipstick" ruz za usne (vidite prvi ovde)! S obzirom da smo jos uvek u hladnom periodu, nijansa koju sam izabrala nosi naziv "Orange Too"- bogata i topla narandzasta koja pomalo vuce na boju cigle. Karmin je srednje teksture (niti previse kremast, niti previse suv) i pruza mat zavrsnicu. Lako se nanosi i razmazuje, dugo ostaje na usnama, hidrira ih i ne isusuje. A kada ne zelim mat efekat, potrebno je samo da dodam trunku bezbojnog sjaja za usne, sto blago akcentuje boju i cini da usne izgledaju jos privlacnije!
