Wherever you travel, especially for the first time,
the unwritten rule is that there is always a location/spot which you must visit
and see. Let's take Koufonisia for example- everybody told us that we shouldn't leave the island without seeing Gala beach! So
one morning we started a walk from Pori beach, following the path that forks into
two parts: one part leads to the beach, and the other part leads to the hill
which offers a fascinating view- and that is the path we quite
spontaneously followed...
Gala is not exactly an ordinary beach, it's more like an open cave that connects the sea and a
tiny pebble beach. The waves at the entrance of the cave
are crushing into the cliffs which creates a foam that has a milky white color, and that's how this beach got its name (in Greek "gala" means the milk)...
The day we visited Gala beach, the wind was a bit stronger and the waves were more dynamic, which only magnified the natural beauty of this place...

otvorena pecina koja povezuje more i minijaturnu sljunkovitu plazu.
