I know I haven't been active on social media, and that's ok. I'm taking time for myself, focusing purely on myself, doing things in my own way and following the rhythm I find comfortable. My life is changing, I'm completely changing... and I feel no need to explain...

Our last day in Italy began with a visit to Padua (Padova). Padua is the third largest city in the province of Veneto, located about 40km from Venice. It used to be an agricultural village called Padovinium, and its present name got in the late fourth century.
Padua is worldwide known as the university city. University of Padua was built here in 1222. This is the second oldest European University, and one of the most famous lecturers was Galileo Galilei...

Almost a century was needed to complete the internal walls of Padua. In good condition to this day are 11km of medieval walls, yet from the original 14 towers only two have survived.
Unfortunately, the day when we visited Padua the marathon was organized and the central part of the city, where the prettiest tourist attractions are located, was closed. So we were not able to see perhaps the most beautiful part of the city- Prato della Valle, which is the main square.

Skoro

I truly am sorry that we failed to see everything we planned, but at least we stroll
through the city on a sunny day. We saw Piazza dei Signori and the astronomical clock, Piazza delle Erbe with the Palace of Reason
(Palazzo della Ragione), beautiful Basilica of St. Anthony, we even managed to sit and drink a
cappuccino (I used the time to pop over to another Kiko store and
Zara). And finally, we headed towards the town called Vicenza...

Ok, there are hundreds of brands that offer and design acrylic clutches, but for me Edie Parker was always the number one. You
see, this unexpected trend when it comes to evening purses, many years
ago started the already mentioned brand Edie Parker, founded by designer Brett Heyman. She is a passionate lover of vintage jewelry and handbags from the middle of the last century in which she finds the main inspiration.
Brett
now lives in New York with her family and she named the brand after her daughter.
These
days, Edie Parker has expanded its line, so in addition to the evening clutches there are cases for mobile phones, home accessories (jewelry
boxes, trays, coasters), pendants and charms... A great thing is the possibility
of adding a personal touch, so you can personalize any piece by adding (for example) your name. See below some of the absolutely phenomenal Edie Parker clutches!

On our second day in Italy, after the short morning visit to Garda lake and Sirmione, the plan was to visit Verona. Verona is the second largest city in Veneto region and the third largest in northeast Italy.
It's indeed a lovely and very lively city, with really pretty
architecture, smart blend of ancient and modern, a lot of restaurants
and coffee shops, a lot of fashion shops... Yet it seems that Verona is mostly famous for being the romantic setting of William Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet". House of Juliet is here, and her well-known balcony. Large Roman amphitheater is also here...

La casa di Giulietta, might be the most famous and most visited location in Verona. Juliet's House is a 14th century residence with a tiny balcony overlooking a courtyard. What's interesting is that no one knows for sure if Shakespeare ever visited Verona or Italy at all, but his plays are the reason why so many people visit this city. Maybe because everyone is still searching for the true love...
Verona's Arena (Arena di Verona) is a tremendous Roman amphitheater from the 1st century, which in ancient times could accommodate about 25,000 visitors who enthusiastically watched the shows and gladiator games. It's the third largest amphitheater in Italy, and we all know the biggest one is Rome's Colosseum. Nowadays its beautiful interior is used for hosting the concerts, fairs, theater and opera performances during the warmer days. I've always loved this kind of monumental buildings...

You see, Verona is really a wonderful city but the truth is- I personally may have expected a bit more. Just as I expect from Rome, Milan or Florence- all these Italian cities that I still haven't visited and seen in the right way. I
can not explain exactly what, but let's say it's that
inexplicable charm and fascination that you simply feel the first time you
see a city...
