ago started the already mentioned brand Edie Parker, founded by designer Brett Heyman. She is a passionate lover of vintage jewelry and handbags from the middle of the last century in which she finds the main inspiration.

I am not a fan of dainty/minimal/classic jewelry, never was. Also not a fan of too much layering, it just feels heavy. I love statement jewelry pieces, something that has a special touch. Even something that can be worn on its own, as a central piece (see my Pinterest jewelry board). For example I prefer wearing one bigger ring over 10 tiny ones (these days usually worn) on both hands. And these words are coming from a person who herself designs and creates jewelry...

There are specific moments in life that we all inevitably remember. Now I'm
taking into consideration only the nice ones (for bad ones I don't have any
more nerves nor time), and one of them is the famous prom night! We girls have (or we had) just one thing on our mind- to be the prettiest that evening, to stun everyone with our divine dress, high heels, cat-like walking, dancing,
flawless make-up, tan, manicured nails (unfortunately often there are wrong
results). I will not delve deeper into this subject because
my heart is broken by today's approach and understanding of young women
and girls when it comes to the mentioned things, and all thanks to the wrong influence of television and media "stars" (more on
this philosophy another time). Anyway what I wanted to talk about today are evening and special occasion dresses!
Postoje specificni trenuci u zivotu koje svi neminovno pamtimo. Uzimam u obzir samo one lepe (za lose nemam vise ni zivaca ni vremena), a jedan od njih je svakako i cuveno matursko vece! Bilo da je mala ili velika matura u pitanju, mi devojke samo jednu stvar imamo (ili smo imale) na umu- a to je da budemo najlepse te veceri, da zasenimo sve svojom bozanstvenom haljinom, visokim potpeticama, macijim hodom, igrom, besprekornom sminkom, tenom, manikiranim noktima (na zalost cesto su pogresni rezultati). Necu zalaziti dublje u ovu tematiku jer mi srce slama danasnji pristup i shvatanje koje mlade devojke i devojcice imaju kada su navedene stvari u pitanju, i to sve zahvaljujuci pogresnom uticaju televizijskih i medijskih "zvezda i zvezdica" (o citavoj ovoj filozofiji nekom drugom prilikom). Elem ono o cemu sam zelela da pricamo danas su svecane i vecernje haljine!

Undoubtedly and highly talented Sophia finished her studies at the Royal College of Art and Cordwainers. After the graduating she has been working as a design assistant to Nicholas Kirkwood- that's why real fashionistas will instantly recognize Kirkwood's energy and bold creativity in a continuation of her work. Sophia's trademark piece is the Aztec open-toe bootie, even dough all designs are based on the single soles, vivid colors, strong shapes, feminine lines, fierce patterns. Irresistible and completely playful- I love to call them Candy shoes!!:)

U poslednje vreme moja opsesivnost radom odredjenog dizajnera cipela posvecena je Sofiji Vebster (Sophia Webster)- njene cipele prosto vriste moje ime!
Bespogovorno i krajnje talentovana Sofija zavrsila je studije za dizajn (Royal College
of Art i Cordwainers) i odmah nakon diplomiranja pocela je da radi kao dizajner-asistent cuvenom Nikolas Kirkvudu (Nicholas Kirkwood). Pravi ljubitelji mode ce isprva prepoznati Kirkvudovu energiju i hrabru kreativnost u nastavku njenog rada. Sofijin zastitni znak su Asteske cizmice sa otvorenim prstima, iako su svi dizajni bazirani na: zivahnim bojama, jakim oblicima, zenstvenim linijama, mocnim printovima. Neodoljivo i potpuno razigrano- ja volim da ih zovem "Cipelice bombonice"!:)
Those are the things that I know there is no chance to have them by this Christmas (there is always hope for the next one), but at least I can release my imagination and make a fantasy wishlist with all the luxurious things I'm dying for a long time!:) And I know it shouldn't be an excuse for all those shimmering things, but now I can exaggerate a little bit- it makes sense when it's Christmas- everything is sparkling, bubbling, shinning, decorative!!:)
