Some 10 days ago I decided to niceeeeely (more than 3 cm) cut the split ends, and to freshen the hair color that has become too
bright and somewhat undefined. Last time I chose a very
dark shade of chocolate that seemed a bit blackish, but this time I
wanted something a bit lighter yet still darker than what I had. You still follow me, right?:)
Jel' me i dalje pratite?:)
In the end I decided to choose something that is closest to my natural color, so my hairdresser mixed two colors, and I remember that one of them was called "cappuccino". As the color developed on my little head, it looked really light and I was a bit scared (would you please tell me if there is a phobia of "too bright shade of the hair color", so at least I know what I suffer from?!). A slight feeling of anxiety was following me until we washed off the color and began to dry the hair, and then that feeling was replaced with "analyzing" the result.
Blagi osecaj
The
result was the color: a bit lighter than what I imagined, a little
copperish-chocolate on top of the head but still darker than the color I
had in the lower part (hats off to those who understand what I wanted to say, lol). Next day, on the natural light, it turned out that
the color is actually perfect for spring, and my anxiety came to an
end...:D
Now let's move onto the basic hair care products that I'm currently using!
Aussie "Frizz Miracle shampoo"
For a long time I had the desire to try some product from the
Australian brand Aussie, due to the many
positive comments that I read and heard on the Internet. Given that I needed a shampoo I decided to go for "Frizz Miracle" which is intended for "electrified" hair, or better to say flyaway and frizzy hair (for example the hair that is frizzy after wearing the hats, woolen stuff, after the use of certain brushes...).
It contains extract of Australian "blue gum" tree, which is loosely translated one kind of eucalyptus that grows in Australia. For the
extract of this tree is believed to have a calming/soothing effect, and when it
comes to hair it means: controlling and soothing the undesirable frizz.
But to be honest I'm not overly happy with this
shampoo, because it seems to me that my hair scalp gets oily faster than usual
while the rest of the hair is dry (and it has nothing to do with the conditioners because I changed two of them, and again I'm getting the same result). Of
course that does not mean I won't try another products from Aussie,
but I think the next time I will opt for a conditioner or hair mask.
Le Petit Marseillais "Conditioner with almond milk & linseed"
This conditioner is one of the latest products of the brand called Le
Petit Marseillais, and is primarily intended for the strengthening of
long hair. The main ingredients are sweet almond's milk and flax seed, which together contribute to the reparation of the hair, while giving it a healthy glow at the same time.
What I like about
this conditioner is that it has a creamy texture with the smell of almonds, and relatively
quick effect- it takes only 1 minute to full effect (most of conditioners
need 3-4min).
I can't really remember seeing pictures or outfit posts of yours with your hair down and in its full richness. So this is a new experience. Your hair is beautiful! It is as refreshing and as charming as your face and smile. Lovely pictures of you- and extra credit for wearing blue! :)
