The Fabulous Greek Islands (guest post)

Mykonos best travel tips
Mykonos

I love to write about Greece, about all the places I visit, the hotels where I stay, and with a big pleasure I share the pictures on the blog. But equally I like to read what others think about this Mediterranean country, which every year attracts a huge number of tourists from different parts of the world. Moreover as a former travel worker and tour guide I'm always more than interested in the offers of travel agencies connected with sunny Greece...
That's way I'm glad to introduce you today my first "guest" on the blog! Read below how one travel agency see Greece, with the addition of my photos...

U nastavku procitajte kako jedna turisticka agencija vidi Grcku, uz dodatak mojih fotografija...

The Fabulous Greek Islands: Choose your Favorite Sun-Drenched Spot

The Greek Islands is one of the most popular destinations in the world and it’s really not hard to see why. Immense beaches, partying until dawn and awe-inspiring sunsets — this destination is about as fabulous as it gets.
If you’re idea of the perfect holiday is relaxing on some of the world’s most idyllic beaches before dining on the freshest seafood while the sun sets in front of you then you’ll be in heaven in Greece.

Name your island

Greece has thousands of islands, although just over 200 of them are inhabited. Your choice of island will no doubt reflect your taste and if you’re the type who loves late night partying, you should consider islands such as Corfu and Kos with First Choice, and others like Mykonos. The Greeks know how to party in style and you’ll find plenty of open air nightclubs where the music and dancing continues until the very early hours (or late hours, depending on how you wish to look at it!). The warm night air from spring through autumn is a good time to indulge in some bar-hopping and clubbing before watching the sunrise from the nearest beach.

Seclusion or vibrancy — the choice is yours

Greece really does have more than its fair share of beaches, so you can find either a vibrant buzzing beach or a more secluded stretch of golden sand to relax on. Islands such as Kos and Zante offer a wealth of beaches; Zante has famous beaches, including Navagio (Shipwreck Bay), which is always used in holiday brochures. Crete is another island famed for its golden sands, with a distinctly Caribbean feel and excellent windsurfing conditions. If you do visit Crete make sure to spend some time at Vai Beach to truly see one of the world’s most spectacular beauty spots.

Dining out in Greece

One of the major bonuses of a Greek holiday is the value for money, high-quality food you can enjoy throughout your stay. Yes, you can find brilliant restaurants offering food from a range of nationalities including Italian, Indian and British, but the traditional Greek eateries offer the freshest food, such as moussakas, baklavas and seafood dishes. If the exchange rate works in your favor, your money will go a lot further and you can dine out in a different restaurant and mingle with the friendly locals every night of the week no problem.
Fab food, blissful beaches and the vacation nightlife are just some of the pleasures available in Greece. Experience any of these islands once and you’ll be determined to return as often as possible.
