"Aqua Luxury Suites" is a boutique hotel with five-stars, located in Imerovigli (in my opinion, Imerovigli and Oia offer the best accommodations in Santorini). The
hotel consists of three complexes (main complex, complex B and complex
C) which are close, and has a total of 10 suites. Almost all suites have sea view as well as the view at caldera and the volcano.
At a time when we decided to go, Santorini was crowded and all accommodation facilities were full. The only thing we found was the executive suite in "Aqua Luxury Suite" hotel, which is the room number 1 because it's on the highest point or better to say at the beginning of the main complex. The
interior of this apartment occupies an area of 25m2 and consists of a
bedroom with a very comfortable king-size bed (there is also a sofa for sitting)
and a bathroom.
Today I share with you pictures of the interior of the apartment, and the rest (private deck with pool and terrace) you will see in the coming posts!
"Aqua Luxury Suites" je hotel "boutique" tipa sa pet zvezdica koji se nalazi u mestu Imerovigli (po mom misljenju Imerovigli i Oia nude najbolji smestaj na Santoriniju). Hotel se sastoji iz 3 kompleksa (glavni kompleks, kompleks B i kompleks C) koji su blizu, i ukupno raspolaze sa 10 apartmana. Skoro svi apartmani imaju pogled na more, kao i pogled na kalderu i vulkan.
U vreme kad smo mi odlucili da idemo, Santorini je bio krcat i svi smestajni kapaciteti su bili popunjeni. Jedino sto smo pronasli je bio executive suite u "Aqua Luxury Suites" hotelu, odnosno soba broj 1 jer se nalazi na najvisoj tacki tj odmah na pocetku glavnog kompleksa. Unutrasnjost ovog apartmana zauzima povrsinu od 25m2, i sastoji se od spavace sobe sa izuzetno udobnim bracnim krevetom (tu je i sofa za sedenje) i kupatila.

No matter how many times they visit Santorini, people always remain stunned in front of the "imperfect beauty" of this volcanic island. I'm no exception. This year we were fourth time in Santorini (although only 2-3 days),
yet I always find something that fascinates me and makes me pull out my
camera to capture that moment...
I've written so much about the island (you can find everything in the blog archive), I shared a
lot of pictures so far, but it seems to me that it's never enough,
because Santorini I always see with different eyes... or I'm just emotionally
attached to the island!;)
Koliko kod puta posecivali Santorini, ljudi uvek ostaju zapanjeni pred "nesavrsenom lepotom" ovog ostrva vulkanskog porekla. Ni ja nisam izuzetak. Iako smo ove godine cetvrti put bili na Santoriniju (doduse samo 2,3 dana), uvek pronalazim nesto sto me fascinira i tera da izvucem kameru kako bih uslikala taj trenutak...
Puno toga sam napisala o ostrvu (mozete sve pronaci u blog arhivi), puno slika sam podelila do sada, ali cini mi se da nikad nije dovoljno, jer Santorini uvek vidim drugim ocima... a mozda sam samo emotivno vezana za ostrvo!;)
Koumbara beach is located some 3km from the port, and it can be reached by car/motorbike, by bus or you can simply walk till there (about a half hour walk from the harbor). It's about 300m long and very nicely organized, with golden sand and shallow water. Even dough it's looking at the port of Ios, you hear no noise...
Exactly at the beginning of the beach there is a taverna with the same name "Koumbara" whose design perfectly fits into the environment. Milky
white chairs and tables, snow-white walls, warm shades of cane and wooden
details, and all that embellished with some decorative elements in the marine-style: shells, small wooden boats, starfish...
Koumbara plaza se nalazi neka 3km od luke, i do nje se moze doci i kolima/motorom, i autobusom ali i peske (nekih pola sata hoda od luke). Duga je oko 300m, sa peskom zlatne boje, i vrlo lepo organizovana. Iako gleda na luku Iosa, do nje ne dopire buka...
Odmah na pocetku plaze nalazi se i istoimena taverna "Koumbara" ciji se dizajn tj izgled savrseno uklapa u okruzenje. Mlecno bele stolice i stolovi, snezno beli zidovi, tople nijanse trske i detalja od drveta, a sve to ukraseno dekorativnim elementima u morskom stilu: skoljke, drveni brodici, morske zvezde...
Sometime after 6pm all hotel guests, who until that
moment have been lying on sunbeds, enthusiastically change their sits and this time they pick the wooden chairs that
are positioned on the other end of the pool. Golden sunlight gently warms their faces and pours over the surface of the pool giving a heavenly blue tint to the water which is visible only in the evening hours. In the hands guests are holding or colorful cocktails or cameras (if not there are always the mobile phones). And then the "ritual" of watching the sunset may begin...
Negde nakon 18h svi gosti hotela, koji su do tog trenutka lezali na lezaljkama, entuzijasticno menjaju svoje mesto sedenja i ovoga puta biraju drvene stolice koje se nalaze na drugom kraju bazena. Zlatna sunceva svetlost im blago greje lica i preliva se po povrsini bazena dajuci nebesko plavu nijansu vodi tek u vecernjim casovima. Gosti u rukama drze ili raznobojne koktele ili kamere za fotografisanje (u pomoc priskacu i mobilni telefoni). I tada pocinje ritualno cekanje zalaska sunca...
"Liostasi hotel & spa" is located in the town of Ios, 6-7 minutes away from the port. It belongs
to the SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) hotel chain which is a guarantee
for a certain uniqueness, exclusivity and luxury...
Interior design is a blend of modern and traditional, chic and rustic. A lot of
refreshing white paint mixed with beige and greyish hues, unique use
of wood in the details (sculptures, mirrors and
picture frames, chandeliers...), with a few additions of metallic
elements skillfully integrated in the whole...

"Liostasi hotel & spa" se nalazi u samom Ios gradu, nekih 6-7 minuta udaljenosti od luke. Pripada SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) hotelskom lancu sto je garancija za odredjenu unikatnost, ekskluzivnost i luksuz...
Dizajn enterijera je spoj modernog i tradicionalnog, sik i rusticnog. Dosta bele osvezavajuce boje pomesane sa bez i sivkastim nijansama, jedinstvena upotreba drveta u izradi detalja (skulpture, okviri ogledala i slika, lusteri...), sa ponekim dodacima metalnih elemenata vesto integrisanih u celinu...

Manganari beach is in my opinion one of the most beautiful beaches of Ios! It
is located some 23km south of the capital Chora, and needs a little more
than half an hour (that much we needed with the car, almost 40min) in order to get to
it due to the "curvy" road. Because of this it's not crowded during the day, as most people choose closer beaches...
The
sand is golden and the water is crystal clean and fairly shallow first few
meters (which is great for families with small children). It
seems as if the beach is not a single unit (which you can see on the picture below), but is made up of four smaller sandy parts, which
only adds to the uniqueness of its natural beauty...

Manganari plaza je po mom misljenju jedna od najlepsih plaza Iosa! Nalazi se nekih 23km juzno od glavnog grada Hore, i treba malo vise od pola sata (toliko je nama trebalo kolima, skoro 40min) da bi se stiglo do nje zbog krivina na putu. Upravo zbog toga i nije krcata tokom dana, jer vecina ljudi bira plaze do kojih se brze stize...
Pesak je zlatne boje, a voda kristalno cista i prilicno plitka prvih nekoliko metara (sto je odlicno za porodice sa malom decom). Cini se kao da plaza nije jedna celina (sto mozete videti na slici ispod), vec je sastavljena iz cetiri manjih pescanih delova, sto samo doprinosi jedinstvenosti njene prirodne lepote...
p.s. Vise o ovoj plazi cucete u drugom postu...
