Troulos beach is, for me, one of the most pleasant beaches of Skiathos. The soft, golden colored sand into which you simply immerse as you walk along the coast. During that walk it often happens that some friendly seagull joins you. There are enough sunbeds, and if you want the peace then- book in your hands and find the escape in the rich shadow of the nearby trees.
Although we came there by the boat, Troulos beach is certainly reachable by the local bus or car. Not very far there are hotel, tavern, restaurant and several bars... Yet for complete enjoyment it needs more than an hour and a half which is the exact amount of time we had that day...

Troulos plaza je, za mene, jedna od najprijatnijih plaza Skijatosa. Mekani, zlatno obojeni pesak u koji prosto uranjate dok setate obalom. Cesto se desava da vam se u setnji pridruzi i poneki druzeljubivi galeb. Lezaljki za najam sasvim dovoljno, a ako zelite mir- onda knjigu u ruke pa beg pronadjite u senci obliznjeg drveca.
Iako smo mi do Troulos plaze stigli brodicem, do nje se svakako moze doci i lokalnim autobusom ili kolima. U blizini se nalaze hotel, taverna, restoran i nekoliko kafica... Ali za potpuno uzivanje je potrebno vise od sat i po vremena koliko smo mi tog dana imali na raspolaganju...

Every day in the main port of Skiathos town you can see the different ferries that connect the island with Volos, Skopelos, Alonissos and other places in Greece. But the real beauty of the harbor is actually shown through the numerous ships and yachts (small and big ones) which arrive daily, as well as a number of boats that are used for day trips and other organized tours...

Svakog dana u glavnoj luci grada Skijatosa mogu se videti razliciti trajekti koji povezuju ostrvo sa Volosom, Skopelosom, Alonisosom i drugim mestima u Grckoj. Ali lepotu luci zapravo daju brodovi i jahte (male i velike) koje svakodnevno pristizu, kao i brojni brodici koji se koriste tokom dnevnih izleta i drugih organizovanih tura...

Koukounaries beach is one of the largest, and therefore one of the most visited beaches of Skiathos. It is located some 15km from the town of Skiathos, and it's very easy to get there 'cause the local buses run every 30 minutes. It's known for its soft white sand, crystal clear water and fragrant pine forest that surrounds the beach, and which the whole region is named after. The beach is well equipped, there are many bars that have their own sunbeds and umbrellas, while the "gourmet break" you can find in the nearby restaurants and taverns...

Koukounaries plaza je jedna od najvecih, a samim tim i jedna od najposecenijih plaza Skijatosa. Udaljena je nekih 15km od grada Skijatosa, a doci do nje je izuzetno lako jer lokalni autobusi saobracaju na svakih 30 minuta. Poznata je po svom mekom belom pesku, kristalno cistoj vodi i mirisnoj borovoj sumi koja okruzuje plazu, i po kojoj je citav region dobio ime. Plaza je dobro opremljena, postoje brojni barovi i kafici koji u svom sastavu imaju lezaljke i suncobrane, a "gurmanski predah" mozete pronaci i u obliznjim restoranima i tavernama...
