Sarti beach is one of the largest beaches in Sithonia, about 2.5km long, that looks directly on Mount Athos. The water is clear, and sand is really soft. The sea is quite open here, so there are waves during the day which is excellent for the lovers of water sports. Yet the depth of the sea increases gradually, which is great for the families with the small children. Therefore I would mostly recommend Sarti beach for family holidays!
There are organized parts with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are parts (center of the beach) where you can enjoy on your own towel. During the summer season you see a lot of people here (mostly Hungarians and Serbians), so if the "packed" beach is what you want and the noise doesn't bother you- then this beach might be for you!;)
Sarti plaza je jedna od najvecih plaza Sitonije, oko 2.5km duga, koja gleda direktno na planinu Atos. Voda je cista, a pesak mekan. More je prilicno otvoreno ovde, tako da ima talasa tokom dana sto je odlicno za ljubitelje sportova na vodi. Medjutim dubina mora se postepeno povecava, sto je pogodno za porodice sa malom decom. Stoga bih ja Sarti plazu preporucila upravo za porodicni odmor!
Postoje organizovani delovi sa lezaljkama i suncobranima, a postoje i delovi (npr. centralni deo plaze) gde mozete leskariti na sopstvenom peskiru. Tokom letnje sezone vidite dosta ljudi ovde (vecinom Madjara i Srba), pa ako je "krcata" plaza nesto sto preferirate i ako vam buka ne smeta- onda ova plaza moze biti pravi izbor za vas!;)

Somewhere at the beginning of this month I spent four days
in Sarti, the place which my mother chose as the first destination for her
vacation. Sarti is located in Chalkidiki (Halkidiki), exactly on its
second and central peninsula called Sithonia, across Mount Athos which can be seen in the
distance...
There will be more pictures of this place and
a couple of nearby beaches. But today I decided to share with you some pictures of the
first day, cloudy one and not so "suitable for swimming and
sunbathing" yet excellent for a walk by the sea, breathing the fresh air and shooting!
Negde pocetkom ovog meseca provela sam cetiri dana u mestu Sarti, koje je moja mama izabrala kao prvu destinaciju za svoj godisnji odmor. Sarti se nalazi na Halkidikiju, tacnije na drugom prstu zvanom Sitonija, prekoputa Svete Gore koja se moze videti u daljini...
Bice jos slika ovog mesta, kao i par obliznjih plazi. A danas sam odlucila da podelim sa vama slike prvog dana, oblacnog i ne tako "pogodnog za kupanje i suncanje" ali odlicnog za setnju uz more, udisanje svezeg vazduha i fotografisanje!
Few days ago we had to visit the island of Corfu due to some business, but it was a short trip because we stayed just one night in Corfu city! Even dough we were staying so many times at "Corfu Palace" hotel, this time we picked "Corfu Mare" boutique hotel for that one night. "Corfu Mare" is super cute, clean, refreshingly modern hotel with lovely pool and breakfast area! See photos below...
Pre par dana smo zbog poslovnih obaveza morali da posetimo ostrvo Krf, ali je to bilo izuzetno kratko putovanje jer smo samo jednu noc ostali u gradu Krfu! I'm such a sucker for any "wellness" thing!:) Also for any kind of serums or special skin treatments, especially the ones that are supposed to produce magical effect on the skin in just one week or ten days...
It's not the secret that I love trying out some of Balea products (made in Germany, but can be found in Serbia and other countries). I'm really fond of their special treatments for the skin (not so much face creams), weather they're coming in the form of capsules or ampoules. This "7 days ampoules treatment" I have for quite some time, yet I haven't used it 'till now due to all other beauty products I was (as always!) eager to try first.
Lako se "zapalim" za bilo koju wellness stvar!:) Takodje i za bilo koju vrstu seruma ili specijalnih tretmana za kozu, narocito onih koji obecavaju magicne efekte nakon samo nedelju ili deset dana.
Nije tajna da volim da isprobavam Balea proizvode. Zaista sam naklonjena njihovim specijalnim tretmanima za kozu (ne toliko i kremama za lice), bez obzira da li su u obliku kapsula ili ampula. Ovaj "7-dnevni tretman sa ampulama" imam vec duze vreme, ali ga nisam koristila do nedavno zbog svih ostalih beauty proizvoda koje sam bila zeljna (kao i uvek) da prvo isprobam.
Just like the name says, this is 7-day treatment so it has 7 ampoules (7x1ml). There are 3 different kinds of ampoules: blue ones (with aloe-vera) which you use on 1st, 2nd and 7th day; green ones (with green tea) which you use on 3rd and 5th day, and transparent ones (with sea silk) which you use on 4th and 6th day. Blue ampoules have anti-stress effect, green have protective effect and transparent ampoules have hydrating effect.
As per usual, you should apply the content after you clean your face and before face creams. I found the content of one ampoule to be too much for one use, as it's very liquid, so I split it: half in the evening and half in the morning. In my opinion this is "lighter" treatment for the skin, there are no drastic improvements, but it doesn't hurt either!:)
