(and winter) days has always been my recipe for a "quick warming"! I know that this is the case with you as well,
because you've said countless times how much you love "summer content" on my blog during the "non-summer days"!
So here are some pictures that show the natural beauty of Santorini, which I have not shared with you. If you missed the first part of the pictures, see this post!!
Gledanje letnjih slika tokom tmurnih i hladnih jesenjih (kao i zimskih) dana je oduvek bio moj recept za "brzo zagrevanje"! Znam da je to situacija i sa vama, jer ste mi bezbroj puta rekli koliko volite "letnji sadrzaj" na mom blogu tokom "ne-letnjih dana"!
Stoga evo nekoliko slika koje prikazuju prirodnu lepotu Santorinija, a koje nisam podelila sa vama. Ako ste preskocili prvi deo slika pogledajte ovaj post!!

saw what it looks like the part where is a private pool. And
today I'm showing you the terrace where we had our breakfast in the
morning, and how the suite looks at night!
Vec ste videli kako izgleda unutrasnjost executive apartmana u "Aqua Luxury Suites" hotelu gde smo odseli tokom boravka na Santoriniju. Videli ste kako izgleda i deo gde se nalazi privatan bazen. A danas vam pokazujem terasicu gde smo mi doruckovali ujutru, i kako apartman izgleda nocu!

Oia is a place in Santorini that I really love! Although
the pedestrian zone has a peaceful character (despite the large number of
people walking every night) than the one in the capital city, it still carries a
specific note of sophistication and elegance. A lot of jewelry stores (where I always stop to admire),
souvenir shops, a few fashion boutiques, a couple of
galleries, restaurants and taverns that were surprisingly crowded this year in the month of
September...
But for me the people, in this case tourists, give a special touch to any place. By now I'm used to see the people who walk the streets of Santorini smiling, in a good and friendly mood, with fine manners. But this year the situation was completely different. Instead of friendly smiles a couple of tourists even pushed me because nobody is looking where is going, nor they care. The profile of people who are visiting the island has changed, and I do not know how good it is. But for me Oia will always be beautiful, as such I want to remember it, especially at night, while resting under the moonlight...
Oia je mesto na Santoriniju koje ja stvarno volim! Iako je setalisna zona mirnijeg karaktera (i pored velikog broja ljudi koji svako vece setaju) nego ona u glavnom gradu, ipak nosi jednu specificnu notu sofisticiranosti i elegancije. Puno zlatara i radnji sa nakitom pred kojima ja uvek zastanem, prodavnice suvenira, nekoliko butika za ljubitelje mode, par galerija, restorani i taverne koje su ove godine u septembru mesecu zacudjujuce krcate bile...
Ali po meni ljudi, u ovom slucaju turisti, daju poseban pecat svakom turistickom mestu. Do sada sam navikla da su ljudi koji setaju ulicama Santorinija nasmejani, u dobrom raspolozenju, ljubazni i sa finim manirima. Medjutim ove godine je situacija bila potpuno drugacija. Umesto ljubaznog osmeha par turista me je cak i gurnulo jer niko ne gleda kuda ide, niti ih je briga. Profil ljudi koji posecuju ostrvo se promenio, i ne znam koliko je to dobro. Ali meni ce Oia uvek biti lepa jer takvu zelim da je pamtim, narocito nocu, dok odmara obasjana mesecinom...
I already showed you the pictures
of Perivolos beach in Santorini, as well as the pictures of two beach bars (see
here) where we spent our time. And today I'm showing you a short video of this beach. A bit to warm up these chilly days!!!
Vec sam vam pokazala slike Perivolos plaze na Santoriniju, kao i slike dva beach bara (pogledajte ovde) gde smo mi provodili vreme. A danas za vas imam jedan kraci video ove plaze. Malo da ugrejemo ove prohladne dane!!!
Perivolos beach is located in the south of Santorini, between Vlihada and Perissa. Extremely organized beach, with a large number of bars, cafes and tavernas. The winds that blow often make playful and stronger waves, which is great for the lovers of water sports! The water is clear and transparent, and the ground is a combination of fine gravel and sand in a dark gray (almost black) color. Therefore,
on this beach, you can not make even one step without slippers because you
will burn your beautiful feet, and I'm not joking at all.
We only had two days to go to the beach. The first day we chose "Chilli" bar since we were going there so many times. The other day we decided to go to "JoJo" bar which is located next to "Chilli", and that's a super cool place as well! These two beach bars are my recommendations if you find yourself on Perivolos beach, and below you can see how each of them looks like!!
Perivolos plaza se nalazi na jugu Santorinija, izmedju Vlihade i Perise. Izuzetno organizovana plaza, sa velikim brojem barova, kafica i taverni. Vetrovi koji duvaju cesto prave nestasne i snaznije talase, sto je odlicno za ljubitelje sportova na vodi! Voda je cista i prozirna, a podloga je kombinacija sitnog sljunka i peska tamno sive (skoro crne) boje. Zato na ovoj plazi ne mozete ni korak napraviti bez papuca jer cete opeci vasa lepa i negovana stopala, i nimalo se ne salim.
Mi smo samo dva dana imali za odlazak na plazu. Prvi dan smo se odlucili za "Chilli" bar jer smo tu poslednjih godina isli. A drugi dan smo izabrali "JoJo" bar koji se nalazi odmah pored "Chilli"-ja, i koji je takodje super mesto! Eto ta dva beach bara su moja preporuka ukoliko se nadjete na Perivolos plazi, a u nastavku pogledajte kako svaki od njih izgleda!!

Yesterday I showed you the pictures (check here) of the interior of executive suite in "Aqua Luxury Suites" hotel, and now you can see what it looks like what they call the "private deck"!
The
outer space of 45m2 is actually a big private balcony that includes a small
pool/jacuzzi, 2 sunbeds (plus umbrella), two armchairs, as well as the terrace with a table where we liked to have
a breakfast. It has a wonderful view of the sea and the caldera, and the sun is shinning here from 9am to about 6pm.
I think this is definitely the best part, and the main factor which motivates people to actually book the executive suite! I am even sure that many think of the idea of sleeping outside!:)
Juce sam vam pokazala slike (vidite ovde) unutrasnjosti executive apartmana u "Aqua Luxury Suites" hotelu, a danas mozete videti kako izgleda ono sto oni zovu "private deck"!
Ovaj spoljasnji prostor povrsine 45m2 je zapravo veliki privatni balkon koji obuhvata manji bazen/djakuzi, 2 lezaljke za sunce (plus suncobran), dve vece stolice/fotelje, kao i terasicu sa stolom gde smo mi voleli da doruckujemo. Ima divan pogled na more i kalderu, a sunce obasjava citav prostor od 9h ujutru do nekih 18h.
Mislim da je ovo definitivno najbolji deo i nesto zbog cega se ljudi i zapravo odlucuju za smestaj u executive apartmanu! Cak sam sigurna da mnogima pada na pamet ideja da spavaju napolju!:)

"Aqua Luxury Suites" is a boutique hotel with five-stars, located in Imerovigli (in my opinion, Imerovigli and Oia offer the best accommodations in Santorini). The
hotel consists of three complexes (main complex, complex B and complex
C) which are close, and has a total of 10 suites. Almost all suites have sea view as well as the view at caldera and the volcano.
At a time when we decided to go, Santorini was crowded and all accommodation facilities were full. The only thing we found was the executive suite in "Aqua Luxury Suite" hotel, which is the room number 1 because it's on the highest point or better to say at the beginning of the main complex. The
interior of this apartment occupies an area of 25m2 and consists of a
bedroom with a very comfortable king-size bed (there is also a sofa for sitting)
and a bathroom.
Today I share with you pictures of the interior of the apartment, and the rest (private deck with pool and terrace) you will see in the coming posts!
"Aqua Luxury Suites" je hotel "boutique" tipa sa pet zvezdica koji se nalazi u mestu Imerovigli (po mom misljenju Imerovigli i Oia nude najbolji smestaj na Santoriniju). Hotel se sastoji iz 3 kompleksa (glavni kompleks, kompleks B i kompleks C) koji su blizu, i ukupno raspolaze sa 10 apartmana. Skoro svi apartmani imaju pogled na more, kao i pogled na kalderu i vulkan.
U vreme kad smo mi odlucili da idemo, Santorini je bio krcat i svi smestajni kapaciteti su bili popunjeni. Jedino sto smo pronasli je bio executive suite u "Aqua Luxury Suites" hotelu, odnosno soba broj 1 jer se nalazi na najvisoj tacki tj odmah na pocetku glavnog kompleksa. Unutrasnjost ovog apartmana zauzima povrsinu od 25m2, i sastoji se od spavace sobe sa izuzetno udobnim bracnim krevetom (tu je i sofa za sedenje) i kupatila.

No matter how many times they visit Santorini, people always remain stunned in front of the "imperfect beauty" of this volcanic island. I'm no exception. This year we were fourth time in Santorini (although only 2-3 days),
yet I always find something that fascinates me and makes me pull out my
camera to capture that moment...
I've written so much about the island (you can find everything in the blog archive), I shared a
lot of pictures so far, but it seems to me that it's never enough,
because Santorini I always see with different eyes... or I'm just emotionally
attached to the island!;)
Koliko kod puta posecivali Santorini, ljudi uvek ostaju zapanjeni pred "nesavrsenom lepotom" ovog ostrva vulkanskog porekla. Ni ja nisam izuzetak. Iako smo ove godine cetvrti put bili na Santoriniju (doduse samo 2,3 dana), uvek pronalazim nesto sto me fascinira i tera da izvucem kameru kako bih uslikala taj trenutak...
Puno toga sam napisala o ostrvu (mozete sve pronaci u blog arhivi), puno slika sam podelila do sada, ali cini mi se da nikad nije dovoljno, jer Santorini uvek vidim drugim ocima... a mozda sam samo emotivno vezana za ostrvo!;)
Aqua Luxury Suites (Imerovigli), our room (executive suite)
Before our trip, I suggested that this time we will visit two islands. First was Ios, and the second one was our favorite Santorini!:) However the last
time we were in Santorini was two summers ago (as we chose to visit Mykonos last year) and this year we noticed a big difference that we frankly
didn't like... Santorini is a beautiful island, yet its soul was always
comprised of the people who visit it. The atmosphere in the air and the energy that tourists carry always give that unique mark to any place. But as the
composition of the people who visit the island drastically
changed in the last two years, that specific energy started to gradually fade... Luckily we spent only two days on the island, so I still carry nice
memories...
These pictures I was sharing on my Instagram, and
more about the hotel where we stayed and our activities there you'll read in the coming
period...
Pre naseg putovanja, nagovestila sam da cemo ovoga puta posetiti dva ostrva. Prvo je Ios, a drugo je nama omiljeni Santorini!:) Elem zadnji put smo bili na Santoriniju pre dva leta (jer smo se prosle godine odlucili za Mikonos) i ove godine smo uocili veliku razliku koja nam iskreno receno nije prijala... Santorini je predivno ostrvo, ali su njegovu dusu uvek cinili ljudi koja ga posecuju. Ta atmosfera u vazduhu i energija koju turisti nose uvek daju unikatni pecat bilo kom mestu. Ali kako se sastav ljudi koji posecuju ostrvo drasticno promenio u poslednje dve godine, i ta specificna energija je polako pocela da bledi... Srecom proveli smo samo dva dana na ostrvu, te i dalje nosim lepe uspomene...
Ove slike sam podelila preko Instagrama, a vise o hotelu u kojem smo boravili i nasim aktivnostima citacete u narednom periodu...
"Dreams Luxury Suites" in Imerovigli, was the place where we stayed during our last two days in Santorini. Only
five available apartments (four apartments and one villa), each furnished
and decorated differently, provide complete isolation and exclusivity
which is particularly suitable for the couples. Our apartment
"Orfeas" with the dominant and refreshing green shades used in the
decoration, consisted of: a living room, bedroom, kitchenette,
gorgeous bathroom (definitely my favorite part!), a private pool and jacuzzi. Although we spent a short time here, we really enjoyed in this wonderful ambient and privacy.
"Dreams Luxury Suites" u mestu Imerovigli- upravo ovde smo bili smesteni zadnja dva dana tokom naseg boravka na Santoriniju. Samo pet dostupnih apartmana (cetiri apartmana i jedna vila), svaki drugacije uredjen i dekorisan, pruzaju potpunu izolaciju i ekskluzivnost sto je posebno pogodno za parove. Nas apartman "Orfeas" sa dominantnim i osvezavajucim zelenim nijansama koje preovladavaju u dekoraciji, u svom sastavu je imao: dnevnu i spavacu sobu, kuhinjicu, bozanstveno kupatilo (definitivno moj omiljeni deo!), sopstveni bazen i djakuzi. Iako smo kratko vreme proveli ovde, uzivali smo u divnom ambijentu i privatnosti.
The holidays came to an end... One week of
total relaxation, rest and peace; one week of swimming and sunbathing; one week of
enjoying in the beauty of Santorini in the company of a loved one... Is there anything more delightful?:)
These are the pictures we made just before our departure, in Imerovigli. Before
we reached the port, we only stopped at the winery "Santo Wines", and took a few bottles of wine for gifts and for our personal pleasure...:)
I odmoru je dosao kraj... Nedelju dana potpune relaksacije, odmora i mira; nedelju dana kupanja i suncanja; nedelju dana uzivanja u lepotama Santorinija u drustvu voljene osobe... ima li icega lepseg?:)
Ovo su slike koje smo napravili bas pred polazak, u Imerovigliju. Pre nego sto smo se ukrcali na feribot, svratili smo do vinarije "Santo Wines", i uzeli nekoliko flasa vina za poklone ali i za nase licno zadovoljstvo...:)
Last day... After the breakfast we slowly packed all the things and spent some time in our private pool and jacuzzi. We had to leave the suite by 12pm. Since we had a ferry to catch at half past three in the afternoon, we decided to use that free time in-between for one last yet long swimming in the pool of Chromata
(again!lol).... But that part of the story you will see tomorrow...
Poslednji dan... Nakon dorucka spakovali smo sve stvari i proveli neko vreme brckajuci se u nasem privatnom bazenu i djakuziju. Morali da napustimo apartman do 12h. S obzirom da smo imali feribot u pola cetiri popodne, odlucili smo da iskoristimo slobodno vreme izmedju i okupamo se jos jednom na bazenu u Chromati (opet!haha)... Ali taj deo price cete videti sutra...
Sixth day... small change of the plans, precisely said- change of the hotel... We spent the morning by the pool in Chromata, packed our suitcases and in the afternoon we moved to the Dreams Luxury Suites...
Sesti dan... mala promena planova, preciznije receno promena hotela... Jutro smo proveli u Chromati pored bazena, spakovali kofere i popodne presli u Dreams Luxury Suites...
The fifth day... even though we were on the beach in the morning, most of the day we spent enjoying by the pool because this was our last night in Chromata...
Peti dan... iako smo ujutru bili na plazi, veci deo dana smo proveli uzivajuci pored bazena jer nam je ovo bila zadnja noc u Chromati...
For three years in a row Chromata hotel is our choice! It is located in Imerovigli, just a few minutes away from the center of Thira. It belongs
to the chain of "Small Luxury Hotels", and "luxury" is exactly the word
that perfectly describes this hotel and each of the 22 rooms and suites. Whitewashed
in the form of a cave, with white furniture and pastel lilac wooden blinds- modern, minimalistic, very chic yet natural. Wonderful and polite people who work there led by the sweetest hotel manager Roula, contributed this year as well that we feel like we're part of the family...
Vec tri godine zaredom Chromata hotel je nas izbor! Nalazi se u mestu Imerovigli, samo par minuta udaljenom od centra Thire. Pripada lancu "Small Luxury Hotels", i upravo je luksuz rec koja savrseno opisuje ovaj hotel i svaku od 22 sobe i apartmana. Okrecene u belo i u obliku pecine, sa belim namestajem i pastelno lila obojenim drvenim zaluzinama- moderno, minimalisticki, vrlo sik a opet prirodno. Divni i ljubazni ljudi koji tamo rade na celu sa dragom menadzerkom hotela Rulom, i ove godine su doprineli da se mi osetimo kao deo porodice...
Day four... it's sunnier and sunnier, no more clouds, sky is so clear... beach and swimming, short afternoon walk in Firostefani and then soaking up mild yet warm sun by the hotel pool...
Dan cetvrti... sve je vise i vise sunca, ni naznake oblacima, nebo je tako cisto... plaza i kupanje, kratka setnjica po Firostefaniju, a potom upijanje poslednjih zracaka sunca pored hotelskog bazena...
Third day... Weather started to be better, less humidity in the air... Theros beach with its bar was our first destination for this day. We stayed there a couple of hours- swimming, sunbathing and enjoying in the peace (this is called "off-season paradise"!). The afternoon was, as always, reserved for the hotel pool, and "additional tanning"...
Treci dan... Vreme je pocelo da se poboljsava, vec se manje oseca vlaga u vazduhu... Theros plaza sa istoimenim barom je nasa prva destinacija za ovaj dan. Ostali smo par sati, kupajuci se, suncajuci i uzivajuci u miru i tisini (ovo se zove "vansezonski raj"!). Popodne kao i uvek rezervisano za hotelski bazen i "dodatan rad na tenu"...
Second day, quite similar to the first one... Breakfast, beach, pool, reading, sunbathing, swimming and early sleeping...:)
Drugi dan, vrlo slican prethodnom... Dorucak, plaza, bazen, citanje, suncanje, plivanje i raniji odlazak na spavanje...:)
Our first day in Santorini and quite surprising weather. Huge
greyish clouds created by the moisture were covering the sky during the whole day,
only occasionally allowing the sun to warm us with its whole strength. Extremely warm but wet weather... After healthy breakfast we unpacked our suitcases, put on bathing suits and spent the afternoon at the beach chasing the sun. Extremely tired of the working summer and the road, we went to sleep early. Thanks to the incredibly comfortable beds in Chromata, we always sleep like babies... zzzzzzzzzz...
Nas prvi dan na Santoriniju i vrlo iznenadjujuce vremenske prilike. Ogromni sivkasti oblaci stvoreni od vlage prekrivali su nebo preko citavog dana, tek ponekad dopustajuci suncu da zagreje svom svojom jacinom. Izuzetno toplo ali vlazno vreme... Nakon zdravog dorucka smo raspakovali stvari, obukli kupace kostime i celo popodne proveli na plazi jureci sunce. Izuzetno umorni od radnog leta i od puta, zaspali smo rano. Zbog neverovatno udobnih kreveta u Chromati uvek spavamo kao bebe... zzzzzzz.....
Finally I can show some memories from my holiday!! After deleting and deleting bunch of photos during this weekend I realized I still have more than 500! Editing them is a time consuming activity for a perfectionist like me, but I'm enjoying in each moment...
Konacno mogu da pokazem neke uspomene sa nedavno zavrsenog odmora!! Nakon brisanja i brisanja gomile fotografija tokom proteklog vikenda, shvatila sam da ih i dalje imam preko 500! Sredjivanje slika je poprilicno vremenski konzumirajuca aktivnost za perfekcionistu kao sto sam ja, ali uzivam u svakom trenutku dok to radim...
